Our History
The Axemen M/C was founded in the Detroit Metro area in March of 1998 by 12 original members, all professional firefighters. The club was created as an exclusive brotherhood for IAFF members, both active and retired, who share a passion for firefighting, motorcycling, and the traditions of both. Over the years, the Axemen M/C has grown to include 33 chapters across 16 states, each upholding the motto ‘Quality over Quantity.’
The Philadelphia Chapter was established on December 1, 2018, continuing this proud tradition. As a 501(c)(3) organization, Axemen Philly is dedicated to supporting charitable causes and giving back to the community. Through fundraising events and outreach efforts, the chapter provides aid to burn victims, supports medical research, and assists first responders in need. While the club has expanded nationwide, our chapter remains deeply rooted in the values of brotherhood, service, and unwavering support for those who put their lives on the line every day.
